Saffron IFA organisation

The board of the Saffron Independent Financial Advisers is made up of executive and non-executive directors. The role of the directors is to deal with the day-to-day running of the Society, while non-executive directors, who are from a range of different backgrounds, bring an outside perspective to the management.

Saffron Independent Financial Advisors comprises an Independent Financial Adviser and an office manager.

Independent Financial Adviser : Russell Vaughan

Russell has over eight years' experience in financial services. He joined Woolwich straight from university and held management and advising jobs before moving into an IFA role. Russell moved to Barclays and for the last four years has been advising customers and holds the AFPC qualification. Russell enjoys playing golf and badminton and spending time with family and friends.

Office Manager : Gill Lewis

Gill has over thirty years' experience in financial services, with a strong background in banking. She has held management positions with Barclays, Woolwich and Bradford and Bingley. Gill joined Saffron IFA as Office Manager in September 2007.

Sales Director : Richard Barrett

Richard has over twenty five years' experience in financial services. He has held a variety of management positions in banking including: strategic, people development and sales management. Richard is Saffron Building Society’s Head of Regulated Sales and joined Saffron IFA in September 2007.

Chief Executive : Andy Golding

Andy has over twenty years' experience in financial services, with a strong background in the banking and mortgage markets. He has held senior management positions with NatWest, John Charcol and Bradford and Bingley. Andy is Saffron Building Society’s Chief Executive and joined Saffron IFA in September 2007.

Finance Director: Jonathan Hall

Jonathan qualified as a chartered accountant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and has a strong background in the financial services market. He has held senior management positions in Norwich Union and is Saffron Building Society's Finance Director. Jonathan joined Saffron IFA in September 2007.

Non-Executive Director : Peter Harrison

Peter Harrison is a chartered accountant with over thirty years experience in public practice specialising in financial services. He worked at KPMG for over twenty years where he became a Senior Partner and was also responsible for running the Financial Services practice in the UK. Peter now undertakes varied assignments in the area of financial services.
